"What a fab collection of cakes! I can't see a vid of Durham Cathedral though - have I missed that one? I thought that one was magnificent.  Can't wait for next year to have another go. My garage still smells of vanilla from…"

"I'm doing Bamburgh, about 85x50cm ish but the buildings are quite small, and my excuse is that it's on a high hill (so it looks small) :) Good luck!"

"Erm, well our board is for all the islands together not just one island! But don't worry, at the moment we have model seals that are the size of boats so I don't think proportion was ever going to be our strong point! It'll be great…"

The height of the Seahouses cake at its highest point - the watch tower at the end of the pier -  is about 30cm. And what happens if it rains?"Someone left the…See More

Hello, fellow cake makers! My Operation Coastal Crumb is coming along nicely - Seahouses Harbour is beginning to take shape, but haven't decided yet whether it will be high tide or low tide. Depends on how much cake I would need to make. I hope your designs are going well. See you at Gibside!
