Does anyone have any advice on where to find more detailed plans of the structures?

You can ask Nicola of Xsite Architecture (she's here in Cakebook) but has anyone got a good suggestion of where to find detailed plans of the structures?

Hi I have a few suggestions,

Approach the owner of the building, they might have the plans or could put you in touch with the architect.
Approach the planning department (Gateshead or Newcastle)
Approach Tyne & Wear Archive & Museums (www.twmuseums.org.uk)
Approach the local Library

Both Google Earth & Street View are fantastic ways to view the building from all angles.

Or you could commission a survey!!!

Hope this information is helpful.

Another way, (if the buildings are recently built) would be to look back through the planning applications list for Newcastle and Gateshead. http://www.newcastle.gov.uk/core.nsf/a/planningapps
'Bird's Eye' on Multimap is pretty useful as well.

On the ebay page for my structures this was part of the description: "The Seller hereby agrees to provide further building plans, images, recipes, on-going advice and training needed to ensure structures are sound and edible."

I take it that the building plans part isn't going to happen then?! Not that I mind, I'm looking forward to doing a bit of research into my building!
If you get stuck we'll help you find plans, promise!

I contacted the architects who did the renovations of the Tyneside Cinema. They are very excited by the whole project and have sent me a full set of plans!
